I qualified in fashion design over 20 years ago. It was the punk era and I was young, independent, full of energy, & bursting with creativity. I still have the same burning desire to design although not producing quite as outrageous collections as previously!
I have always enjoyed the glamour and styles of the 1920's and 1930's. Everything was so feminine which is inspiration in itself to designing bridal and occasionwear accessories.
Having spent a few years designing and creating Chaos Designs my fashion career was put on hold as life took me in another direction. I always knew that I would come back to fashion as its more of a vocation to me than a profession.
I started Calm Amongst The Chaos in 2005 and have gone from strength to stength. Designing a collection as well as the couture designs that I have completed has given me alot of pleasure.
