The Gertie is a dress that has a practical feel but is still stylish and adaptable for many different occasions.
A smock style front and back with a seam that is lower than that of our Hartigan.
It's an easy-to-wear, oversized dress made for an effortless look. Inspired by the classic smocks worn in days gone by it features a grown-on sleeve for an outsized fit. Very versatile; can be worn over trousers or another dress or alone for a simple, impactful look. Chest pockets in the denim, side seam pockets in the sweat.
Named after the inspiring Gertrude Jekyll whose pioneering garden designs are still influential today, 100 years later. Gertie can be worn in the garden, over other items when it clouds over, or to protect the clothes beneath from the dirt of the potting shed.
Available in two different fabrics; floppy cotton sweatshirt and our lightweight, washed denim which is equally as soft but holds its shape slightly more.

Gertie is one size and encompasses both Size A + B due to its oversized nature. If you have had our Hartigan Smock Dress before we advise you to order the same length in the Gertie Dress.
